My shattered soul..

A fractured glass, once held so high,
Now scattered shards beneath a starless sky.
No binding balm can make it whole once more,
The pieces lost upon a desolate shore.
Each silver splinter holds a memory,
A flash of pain, a bitter history.
A promise broke, a trust too lightly lent,
A future's dream now tattered, torn, and spent.
The echoes whisper in the hollow shell,
A silent scream, a secret none can tell.
A heavy ache where light did once reside,
A shattered soul with nowhere left to hide.
Yet in the dust, a faint and feeble gleam,
A tiny spark, a nascent, fragile dream.
Perhaps in time, the edges may align,
And strength emerges from this dark design.
