Smoke and mirrors is what most people wind up settling for in their choice to just exist, attempting to sift through the mist,
Embracing the vapid allure of the dark superficial culture most cannot resist,

Yearning to belong, unable to distinguish right from wrong,
It’s the same old Tik Tok fakery song,

Exchanging images on a hell phone,
Locked away within their own artificial steel dome,

Souls becoming tarnished beyond redemption.
Most people incapable of self-reflection,

Avoiding unpleasant truths, always refraining from conversations which cut deep,
A life so cheap, what we sow we eventually reap,

Lost within the smoke and mirrors artificial lifestyle,
Left to stare into the abyss while clinging to the thousands of selfies on file,

The creation of the hive mind society nearing its predictable end,
A game of pretend where one who values their soul couid never genuflect to or perform the knee bend,
How we reached this point almost seems impossible to grasp or comprehend…….
