I Write Poetry

[b]S[/b]omeone to smile at you everyday
A[b]c[/b]cepting you as his sister and friend
Dr[b]o[/b]pped everything as he came your way
Nat[b]u[/b]rally he would shower you with love to no end
Ambi[b]t[/b]ious he was to snack on what he found
Anyth[b]i[/b]ng that crumbled, crunched, or chewed
To run a[b]n[/b]d dig terribly deep in the ground
Hiding a[b]g[/b]ain behind the small spaces
His eyes o[b]f[/b]ten shut in sweet slumber
Your arms w[b]o[/b]uld wrap around him in warm embraces
Water he fea[b]r[/b]ed tapping the blue, calm stream
Watching you, [b]c[/b]heering you on as you swam
And he would fo[b]l[/b]low you back and forth with such gleam
He enjoyed your [b]e[/b]nergy but still wanted space
Truly tranquil h[b]a[/b]ving solitude in his little corner
He rolled on the ha[b]r[/b]sh, green grass with loving grace
His smile widened a[b]s[/b] the sun’s beams shined below
He would not leave, as[b]k[/b]ing you to stay with him
By falling on your lap [b]i[/b]nducing you to never let go
Then without warning h[b]e[/b] disappeared into the sky
He will always be by your [b]s[/b]ide so no need for good-bye
