There’s Beauty In The Void

We spend our lives struggling, hustling and trying.
When do we ever not wish?
When do we ever not try?
But it requires so much energy, it’s so damn tiring.
Sometimes, perfect bliss is what I long for, there is beauty in the absence, there is beauty in the void.

We see people hurting, we see others crying.
We want to lessen the burden, but still… people continue dying.
Whether it’s emotionally or physically..
There is beauty in the absence of pain, there is beauty in the void.

Our minds keep racing, our hearts keep pounding,
Excitement, anxiety and darkness have all kept us awake at night.
But in that darkness, our minds keep shouting in despair.
There’s beauty in the quiet, there’s beauty in the void.

Take my hand,
Let’s try together.
To make you feel in a better place.
The void is what we avoid the most, because

What is a life filled with nothingness?

There’s no beauty in the void.

Why did you say at the end that there is no beauty in the void?

@Miram It’s meant to be contradicting. There is both beauty and ugliness in the void. We wish bad things didn’t happen, but without it, there would be no real meaning in the heights.
On the other hand, if we’d stay in a numb state forever, which many people experience at some point in their life, then that doesn’t seem like a good solution either.
Mainly, I’m sharing some rambling thoughts, feel free to share how you feel about it :D

I guess I saw it from taoist and buddhism perspective. No bad nor good in the void. Bad and good fill up space so by definition it is not void if we wish to attach meanings to it.

So no beauty and no lack of beauty either

No oppositions.

That's what I understand by the void.

@Miram When we talk about life and experiences, and it would be experienced as that “void”, would you say that there’s no beauty nor a lack of beauty in that life?

That status quo for me personally would be felt as an absence of meaning~
