I Write Poetry

he is lonely
though it's difficult to tell
trying to reach out
for what? he does not know
in a corner he sits in silence
hoping someone will notice
his lonely empty soul
his only hope being that they notice in time
or he'll have drifted off too far
and he may let go
of the last grasp of the life he has
slowly fading out of the lives of everyone he know's
totally unnoticed...
