I Write Poetry

A Love Worth Living Twice

I was a fallen star
Crashing into Earth

You were a shining
beacon of hope,
To show me
what I'm worth

Two wandering souls,
intertwined,
Dancing in the Atmosphere

Far above all judgement
Far above our fears

Hold me tight,
I'll kiss you sweet,
A Love Worth living twice

Let's ignite this fire
You steer the wheel
I'll roll the dice

We float far up into space
Up in our element

You've always stayed true
To who you are
You always showed me
What you meant

And when others tried
To paint you wicked,
I always saw through it
I always saw clear

So just know,
Even in my last dying day,
It's always been you,
It will always be you
🖤 My dear🖤

I wrote this about love relationships.

Quietly quietly our hills have grown white with snow. The cold, the sunshine and the wind bring confusion.

A love showing a never ending connection speaks loudly but it’s just a whisper amongst the sounds of beating hearts.

quietly quietly.

nice! here is one to my niece.

Crystal-Rose.

A shining spirit made in heaven above.
Sent down to earth to know a families love.
Alas so short a stay, her soaring spirit heading heavens way.
She whispers to us tears not to waste, with angels now she dwells in holy grace. ❤️ 👼

Made this for my childhood friend

Once upon a time when all days were innocent and good
You and I walked hand and hand in the land of childhood
Though our time together there was swift as a moonbeam
Now as an adult I still recall those days like a joyful dream

Your long hair dancing in the air
Bearing the hue of the sun’s golden flare
My gleeful laugh leaping from my tongue
As we made jokes that could only be made by the young

The cool seafoam riding toward our feet
The gulls singing with voices great and sweet
As we played amidst the clear waters of the earth
And combed the sand for jewels of untold worth

When I gave you a worthless toy
That you cherished with undying joy
When you gave me a bracelet of old string
That I treasured as if it was crown from a king

Alas those simpler days have fallen behind you and I
However, the child within me has refused to die
For whenever my eyes catch sight of you
The child within me smiles bright and true

And whenever I am near you under the summer sun
The child within me wishes to break free and run
To make up those days we missed together
To laugh, to smile, and to play no matter the hour or weather

And now when times have become harder to understand
You and I walk in adulthood hand and hand
Though the echoes of childhood call to me
When I see you and I know a beautiful glee

@Poetvann Thank you :) I have known and been friends with the girl I wrote that for over 20 years nows, we met literally when I was 9 months old, so a lot of passion went into every word. When my friend read it she, her mom, and my mom own all cried.
