I Write Poetry

Entropy

Fear down
Down I go
The unknown disappearing
Becoming numb
Undone with energy lost to entropy
I just go on
The hands around my neck are gone
But yes
I fear that this space will feel past its usefulness
But that is okay
There really is no other way
And that you never know either way
Intriguing....👍

@Vivaci You can see my thoughts a bit in my last two poems. I am finding that as I get older, I am a lot more mellow. Not really numb, but in some ways yes. You get more wise and relaxed. While you lose some of your intensity, you gain this calm wisdom.
@okaybut That's true about a lot of us. I think time makes us realize that opportunities are only available in a certain time frame....so yeah, we do mellow down as we age. I like your honesty....will surely check out the two poems now. Ty! 💞
