Isn't heavy



That's just the quality

Of existence



That makes rising

Up

More



Impossible?



Smiles point up

Hearts race fast

Temperatures rise higher

Ladders are climbed

Mountains are conquered



But I feel the opposite of up

Which isn't caged



It's just the chaining of my soul

To the floor



Which makes reaching

Up

Bone

Shatteringly



Painful



The opposite of up

Isn't ugly



That's just your perception

As you look away



Which makes believing in



Up

Soul

Destroyingly



Deadening



I am the opposite of up

Floored



Don't pick me

With your lies

Passed bargaining
