I Write Poetry
What colour did your day end?
I think it was kind of green
An other worldly unrecognisable blend.
Not a green you've seen.
It was a lonely green without a friend
It is the kind of green you don't quite see
Not in the forest
Nor in the sea
In fact it smelled like oranges
I think it was meant, just for me!
Please do not feel saddened
At the solitude of my green.
It was just a moment
In a sleepy head that is not seen.
In the moning I might be yellow
Because I woke up to my friend!
I think it was kind of green
An other worldly unrecognisable blend.
Not a green you've seen.
It was a lonely green without a friend
It is the kind of green you don't quite see
Not in the forest
Nor in the sea
In fact it smelled like oranges
I think it was meant, just for me!
Please do not feel saddened
At the solitude of my green.
It was just a moment
In a sleepy head that is not seen.
In the moning I might be yellow
Because I woke up to my friend!
