I Write Poetry
I don’t know if this is any good. But I wrote this today.
“My name means, from Cyprus. In british legend, Sabrina was the daughter of the king of England, who was drowned by her father’s ex wife in the river Severn. My name tells the sad story of a girl who was killed because of the envy and hatred of others, but that is not me. I won’t be affected by the ones who loathe me. I won’t be brought down by the ones who wish to cause me harm. I will prevail above them, and overcome them. My given name, does not define me. I am not just a sad story, I am not just a story of sorrow and pain. My story, is a story of perseverance, purpose, and strength. I am not my name, and my name is not me.”
