Poem name: Popular boy
I wonder if you ever have felt how I feel
do you not think of me
when we drift so steadily along
in life I hope it treated you well
with every hello you told me goodbye
with every party you threw no invite
with every hang out its always me
reaching out for social comfort
when I don't want to face
the truth of the matter
our laughs soldemly become echos
in the dark
with the memories of 2 in the mornings
no longer can linger in my head
since I can't even see you
in my life
all those new faces
you let in
am I one of them?
I know you shut me out
am I an embarrassment?
I ask you these questions
hoping for answers
that wont come from word of tongue
but word of actions
be simple is all I ever tried to be
even though you replaced my memory
