I Write Poetry
Lie to my parents.
lie to their face.
Something about me feels so miss placed.
See I grew up in this place feeling accepted.
Now I’ve been rejected.
I’ve been forced to hide, who I am inside.
This girl they want can’t be found anymore, they left me on the floor.
I was neglected, rejected, and disrespected.
Just because whom I love is
unaccepted.
lie to their face.
Something about me feels so miss placed.
See I grew up in this place feeling accepted.
Now I’ve been rejected.
I’ve been forced to hide, who I am inside.
This girl they want can’t be found anymore, they left me on the floor.
I was neglected, rejected, and disrespected.
Just because whom I love is
unaccepted.
