After all that taking
When she longs for attention
give it to her
when she longs for affection
give it to her
when she hasn’t been herself
give her reassurance
when she feels misunderstood
give her understanding
when she feels caged
give her freedom
when she inhales
give her the chance to exhale
give her a reason to live
give her the existence of presence
give her your hand
to always be by her side.
After all that taking
