I Write Poetry

When life pulls no punches,
And tears you out of the sky,
Stroll into those hells,
with your head held up high,
Abandon your hopes never,
Soul of scars flesh and bone,
You can vanquish all your demons,
And wear their wings as your own,
Now ascend up from this darkness,
Broken pieces greater than their sum,
In fires burned your lesson learned,
Each struggle just a hell you've yet to overcome.
