I Write Poetry
-Firefly(Shine So Bright)-
Oh sweet agony, we meet once again. I recall our last meeting, oh joy you returned. A beautiful butterfly, flying so freely. Confident and power, the little one owns so dearly. I look up to see the stars, shining to brightly, when seeing the firefly, brighting as if it was crying. I see the light, I smile away, knowing the firefly is what marks beauty. A firefly is born so dark, and shines later on, when you realize a firefly is brighter than the sun. How could this be? How does this little thing bright be brighter than the star in the sky? Well, a firefly shines with great smile and great to move, but just as us humans, we shine brightly, even you. So when you see a firefly, think of it as humans, because no matter the size, the color, we're always together.
