I Want People to Share Their Poetry

Untitled
by: Rob Paquin

Somewhere, sometime,
There will come a rhyme
One that's waited
For a real long time

With words, inside
That flow and glide
Within the stanza
Where they reside

A metrical composition
Of words sent on a mission
To explain a deeper feeling
In a music like rendition

A chorus of people reading
Words they might be needing
Relating in their heart
To the words the poet's bleeding

~The Snowdog

@HikingMan, I love your contribution. "And where are the lonely words?", I'm Sorry asked? Where are the words not spoken? Held back for fear of retribution? Why is it we fear to speak on commitment? Words that hang on the sides of the street waiting to hear, "I'm Sorry?"
One told me some years ago that to hear the words of encouragement, and commitment we have to speak them first. We ALL have out own sadness. We fear building this fire till it becomes too large to put-out.
I NEED to hear I love you often. I need to have these words spoken while looking in my eyes, traveling down the path into my heart. Make the words believable.
If you turn and walk away not leaving a comment nor an apology, I am left to assume. And KNOW that word ASSUME. It is always there to wreck whatever it can.
I say I love you a lot. It does not reduce it's meaning in repetition.
I need romance. I need to be catered to. To be told often that I have value. Because too often I have felt I have none. Too many times I have been left to feel the pain of loss.
I need to believe I deserve more. And right now I am about ready to walk away.

This started as a thought that perhaps I had not yet written my best rhyme yet. In truth, there are very few of my own pieces that I do think are actually good from a literary standpoint. This being one of the many, and not one of the few. I am glad you enjoyed the reading of it and it offered some measure of entertainment value.

I appreciate the feedback.

Be well
Live happy
Die trying,
Rob

@PerfectionOfTheHeart: You like my signature ? It's just the way I am on most days. And the way I see the world

@HikingMan: It's a far cry from the way many see life and the world around them. Stay awesomely awesome :)
