I Want People to Share Their Poetry

.... SW won't let me create a topic, '3 minute poetry'. This was 3 minutes, have your fun, I don't care what you write, but keep things mindful of what people write poetically often reflects how they are feeling

So I'll begin

on a short stutter
with only a moment to look at the gutter
you see a willow weeping

the leaf never erased, yet gone
you build another purpose
this time it might be stonework
or a passion you never got to explore

then in a quick step
without any moment to collapse into yourself
you walk under a blue moon
asking why pillows are so soft
concrete so hard
and everything vast is between

you offer someone a seat
you are only a stranger to them
they accept your kindness
but in time that becomes dull

You look at that willow, while it certainly would be soft
one would never say it senses were.
