House of Cards

While you kiss her forehead under the lamppost you ensnare me with your arms
There's no security in these chains that binded us together
You once felt like home
There's no home in false promises
Under a roof of lies, love triangles and sin

While you walk her to her door you'd be walking me to my room
There's no love in this this cat and mouse game we've all been playing
You're under her thumb
The fist that holds the key

While she lays on your chest you lay beside me when it's just us
There's no justice in wanting what you can't have
You feel like a criminal
There's no hope in this misdemeanor
A house of cards that are bound to fall
