I Want People to Share Their Poetry

The evening breeze caresses my face,
A leaf flutters down from a nearby tree,
Its existence ended.
A brooklet flows by close to my feet,
Its passage through time marked by a rustling, gurgling sound.

The here and now is all that matters, has to be with the impermanence of existence.
In its way sadness has a certain beauty,
But one that cries out to be shared with another soul.
The sadness not so enjoyable when it can only be experienced alone.
The only pain-deadener - memory.

Very nice. Love the feel of it.

@Novaturient81 Thank you. I've always loved sensuality. Do you write any yourself?
Novaturient81 · 41-45, F
@alan20 I try. Not really good though.

@Novaturient81 Nor is mine. I'm a musician not a poet. I'd like to read some of yours.

@alan20 Maybe one if these days I'll post something. ☺
