I Want to Share My Poetry

My child, you were my best,
Such splendor was your presence,
Your evil ways of being a pest,
Will never be gone in essence;
A tragic loss it was,
To lose a treasured soul,
But now you're gone what will I do,
All I have left is your bowl;
I miss your morning chaos,
Staring at me in my sleep,
What clock did I need when I had you,
For you were my early beep;
7 am you called me,
And landed on my heart,
Vibrating loud until I woke,
Until I was ready to start;
A handsome mess you were,
That created quite a stir,
That when I jumped, so would you,
And created something true;
You were a pea and I was me,
We were quite random loons,
Without you here I have my tears,
But I am leaving my cocoon;
All days I do quite miss you,
But pretend you were not here,
Yet now I see that can not be,
As loss is nothing to fear.
