It was a moonlit night, the sea was still, A familiar old feeling drifted through the air. Upon the waves of time, memories kept floating by, Some filled with laughter, some with tears in the eyes. Life, too, turned out to be like the ocean’s tide, Sometimes it brought me to shore, sometimes carried me far away Those who were once closest to my heart, time took along, Yet the lamp of their memories still burns within me. The moon is still the same, and so is the night, Only the stories of life have changed somewhere along the way.
