Family war
I hate it when families fight.
It makes home feel like a warzone.
Everybody wants to know on which side you're on.
I was recruited to this war at the age of six.
I never "betrayed" my side and always tried to see the good in it.
Until today when I just couldn't see the goodness of it anymore.
When I spoke out to try to suggest peace, to my surprise I was greeted with hostility from my brother. Who told me to shut up.
Raised his voice and kept on..
He told me I was a traitor and defended the other side.
I told him "I think our parents are right and are trying to help him this time."
He replied in anger that he can't handle us anymore, and that we are all against him.
Only then I did I realize how far we are.
I backed away and told myself "enough!".
And told him to speak with me no more..
