[Prose] The optimistic pessimist.

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖔𝖕𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖈 𝖕𝖊𝖘𝖘𝖎𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖙.

Think before asking.
Ask before accepting.
Accept before judging.
Judge before punishing.

Any of those out of order can not be any kind of optimism. For reactions without thinking is chaotic.

And pure pessimism results in nothing accomplished.

The last one gives me pause...haven't we been judged if we're being punished?🤔It is food for thought....😌

@Peaches yet thought should be given to the punishment first. Anything else is a reaction.

When a jury or judge has determined someone is guilty, the type of punishment is often determined. That is the "Judgement" trial.

@DeWayfarer Well, deep thought about HOW one should be punished can be dangerous as well.

@DeWayfarer Yes, but they go off the grid (so to speak) sometimes too. The law doesn't always work. I've heard judges say "I wish I could do more." 😔

@Peaches the process still has thought given. When the people vote for a minimum punishment that is also a judgment for that particular crime. The judge actually can still give further punishment. And that as well is a judgement.

The punishment itself isn't finished until those judgements are completed.

@DeWayfarer Of course, so we should ponder the punishment...instead of reacting and smacking the sh!t out of them!✌️😆Okay...I get it.😜 Goodnight my friend...I'm off to sleep now.✨🌠😴💤💙

@Peaches rest well my friend.
