The Rut.

Weary commuter,
Running round,
Errand bound.

Evening comes,
Streetlights spark,
Sun departs.

Rushing home,
Set the plates,
Pizza late.

Channel surf,
Evening news,
Feelin blue.

Frustration mounts,
Fantasy mate,
Canceled date.

Morning brings,
Warning call,
Lifes stalled.

Routine begins,
What a pace,
Rat race.

I think,
Whats at stake,
Sanity breaks.
