Crystalline Teardrops


Crystalline teardrops fall
covering my world
in winters hoarfrost

With your frigid nature
you buried loves lament
beneath sorrowful snowflakes

For the warm embers of passion
have been extinguished
drowned in icy slush

And the memories
of your fallen snow angels
will no longer sustain me
