Full leisurely you glide above
As darkness fills the skies,
You clear with wisps of sun and love,
Being contrariwise.
And offer truth—yourself; then move,
Lost to all peering eyes.

Your gift is lost, none give it note,
Missing their due respect,
You find yourself fading, remote
Because you can’t connect.
Sans hope and love, the antidote?
A dose of self-respect.

That carried you away,
