A Kite in the Wind
Full leisurely you glide above
As darkness fills the skies,
You clear with wisps of sun and love,
Being contrariwise.
And offer truth—yourself; then move,
Lost to all peering eyes.
Your gift is lost, none give it note,
Missing their due respect,
You find yourself fading, remote
Because you can’t connect.
Sans hope and love, the antidote?
A dose of self-respect.
Believe in yourself--trust the force!
That carried you away,
To bring you back and reinforce
Your Self, without delay:
Your valued sense without remorse,
See? Change is underway!
Full leisurely you glide above
As darkness fills the skies;
Please bring your wisps of sun and love,
My friend whom I do prize.
And offer truth; if then you move--
No longer lost, will you be--
To my adoring eyes.
As darkness fills the skies,
You clear with wisps of sun and love,
Being contrariwise.
And offer truth—yourself; then move,
Lost to all peering eyes.
