In sunless depths where coral grows,
And silent, sleeping kraken goes,
A kingdom 'neath the crushing sea,
Is held in thrall, but not by me.

For you, my queen of tide and stone,
Have claimed my heart, have made it known.
Your eyes, two pearls of darkest night,
Reflect no moon, but inner light.

Your hair, a storm of seaweed green,
Floats on the currents, soft, unseen.
Your voice, a song the abysses sing,
A haunting, lonely, lovely thing.

They tell of sailors, lost and charmed,
By siren songs that bring no harm,
But only love, a binding deep,
While all the land world falls asleep.

So let the surface world forget,
The sun it hasn't seen as yet.
For in your arms, I'll gladly be,
