I cant even fathom the idea of loving you again
The thought actually makes me sick
You think I'd be ever foolish enough to trust you to make me happy
all you know is destruction
& I no longer need to be destroyed
I found my worth in the pieces of me stuck to the bottom of your shoe
I found my smiles carefully tucked and folded in your back pocket
I found my happiness at the bottom of the bin;
discarded like useless trash
I found the love I gave you freely
leaking off of unanswered love letters stuffed at the top of your closet
I found my hope for "us" pooling in the crevices of your message inbox while simultaneously drowning my good morning messages
I found the time I spent with the trinkets from past dates
at the bottom of the old shoe box you only use for semi-important keepsakes.
I guess my love never did make it to your heart
I'm kinda glad you made me play hide and seek.
I ended up finally finding me scattered in places I didn't deserve
waiting patiently for a love that couldn't replenish. but now..
Im no longer searching
I'm enough of what I need all by myself.
& now you have officially lost me
& I definitely won't be in the same places you left me.
