Whispers in the Night

I look out my window, stars twinkle bright,
Their light reflects a woman lost in night.
Her eyes, wide with wonder, silently roam,
As jasmine’s spell softly fills her home.

Her thoughts drift to love, now lost and far,
Like distant echoes beneath each star.
The night unfolds, but still she yearns,
For a warmth that her soul eternally burns.

With arms folded tight, she hugs herself near,
Chasing a comfort she wishes was here.
In the stillness, she longs, dreams softly unfurl,
For the embrace of love in a lonely world.
