"Domino"


The way you touched me,

The way you touched everybody-

Was like a domino effect.

The way you loved, the way you laughed, the way you lived-

Thinking about you now,

In retrospect.

The memories of you

Are as thick as honey,

And haunt me in my dreams.

And in the middle of the day, I'll hear a song...

There you are, as if you never left,

Been by my side, all along.

The smile on your face, could light up a room

Heads would turn, eyes would stare, jaws would drop,

Your beauty, your grace, was mesmerizing- And your love

Would never die, never stop.

Touching me, like a domino-

As I touch another, and another is touched.

And as we crash into each other, our lives intertwine

A piece of you becomes a part of me,

A part of us all.

A glass of water slips through my fingers

Comes crashing down to the floor,

I feel your Spirit pass through me...

And the Domino's start to fall.
