Let the Dice Fall… (A poem written by Lu)

Let the dice fall, where they may
Let the world spin upon it’s axis, as it will
Let the sky rain down tear drops or shine a golden hue of blue
But don’t let me live without you.

Let the worms feed upon the earth
Let the fish swim throughout the sea
Let the birds fly hither and yon
But don’t let me live without you.

Let the sea’s waves crash against the rocks
Let the wind sing through the leaves of the trees
Let the fires burn unending in the hearts of man
But don’t let me live without you.

Let my scars dim and fade
Let my heart grow weary of pain
Let my soul seek shelter from hate’s reign
But don’t let me live without you.

Let me reach for who you are
Let me embrace what you’ve become
Let me hear your heart beating madly
There’s no life when I live without you.

Look and see who I am
Touch and feel that I am real
Hear the words that I speak to only you
And know my life is nothing without you.

Don’t let me live without you
There’s no life worth living without you
And yet, if I must, that is what I’ll do.
