I write often and sometimes I write a few simple poems.....

The depth of one's soul makes one whole,
It reflects their life's role,

Connecting with substance and heart,
Refraining from the vanity and ego which tears people apart,

Honesty and a courage to seek the truth about life,
Keeps one away from the fake world and the constant strife,

Most people don't have the patience or time,
To put in the effort and make the climb, that's a darn shame, a crime

Lost within a world of illusion and delusion,
Often leads to a life within a state of confusion,

A solitary soul in search of perfection,
Must realize that life is one big imperfection,

If you seek a genuine connection,
You need soul protection......
