I Love Summer [I Like to Write Poems]

what could be more glorious
than for it to be
a summer's day
the sun shining high above
and a cool morning breeze

spring may have it's buds
and autumn too can be so fair
but winter's cold-
a distant memory to me
as I inhale the summer air

sweet summer
with it's luscious fruits
tanned skin and heat
ocean calling and pavement for walking
toes free from heavy boots

i love the summer
feeling so carefree
i sing with joy
for this earth's quarter
spun so graciously :)
