I Love to Write Poetry

Have you ever been wondering
This world is a funny place to live in?

Where some beg for food on the high street
And some skip meals to look lean and fit.

Some go for long drives or cruise ships on holidays,
While some walk 100 miles to reach home when there's no train.

Some have tender hands adorned with diamonds
While some calloused hands will remind you of a farmer's song.

Some will get ill looking after the sick
While some will play the saviour and take all credits.

Some will break backs to make this place better
While some will fight over whose God is greater!

You'd think that these people live worlds apart,
You'd see how crazy this place is when you have a human heart. 🙂
