I Write Sad Poetry. Our Souls Reunite
We always said that we'd grow old,
together you and I.
We'd rock all day on our front porch,
and together we would die.
Our dream we had, not meant to be,
for God, he had another.
Well you went first and I did not
and now you're with our mother.
You suffered much, so long and hard,
and now you're in no pain.
No doctors you will have to see,
or brave face you'll wear again
The memories that we have made,
shall never fade away.
A sisters bond will still stay strong,
with each new passing day.
Someday the Lord will come for me,
till then I'll be alright.
Cause thoughts of u will get me through,
till our souls reunite.
together you and I.
We'd rock all day on our front porch,
and together we would die.
Our dream we had, not meant to be,
for God, he had another.
Well you went first and I did not
and now you're with our mother.
You suffered much, so long and hard,
and now you're in no pain.
No doctors you will have to see,
or brave face you'll wear again
The memories that we have made,
shall never fade away.
A sisters bond will still stay strong,
with each new passing day.
Someday the Lord will come for me,
till then I'll be alright.
Cause thoughts of u will get me through,
till our souls reunite.
