I Like To Write Poetry

Don't want to lose you but you are already gone
Whenever you're near I don't feel so alone
You were my friend, my love, my smile, my heart
I thought it was together forever until death do us part
Your absence is pain your silence so loud
It's like being lost in a shadow of an innumerable crowd
Where did our love go? How did it turn bad?
How did it go from the present to something we once had?
Letting go is so hard not impossible I know
But I'm not looking forward I don't want to let go
But letting go is something that I have to do
Although I never really had you I hate to lose you
Goodbye my love goodbye mate goodbye to the chance for us to be great
I hope you find the happiness you deserve and you seek
As I cherish each moment with you and me
