I Love to Write Poetry

She stands alone, fearless, agile, waiting
A warrior with feminine wiles
Dreaming of the day that her soul will take flight
Awaking to a new dawn
And that her prince will come
Taking her on a new wild and glorious adventure
They two can share

This was nicely said, It had that fantasy art style of writing to it. A modern day "Someday My Prince Will Come". I just want my princess to come. (keep it clean, boys ans girls!)

I'm an old Magic:The Gathering player from long ago and your description reminds me of the card "Serra Angel". Not the original art but 7th edition art. That, is a compliment!

@ReneeT I wish I could say I got the invite but I did not. I did however see the pics on the post of another whom I forget.

Either I was not included or the post was at a setting I have blocked.

I do like what you did with this. There is yearning, and a small sense of mystery.

@Elandra77 I can tell you that I did not get the invite either. I just knew that she probably posted it and tried to find it.

I do like to write and have done some since I was in high school (a long time ago). I continue to write poetry and some I do convert to songs.

Thank you again for the kind words. I can't paint a picture with paint, so I try with words.
