Sorry I wasn't attractive enough for you to want to like me too
Sorry I don't live close enough
Or tell the right jokes enough
Or blend in better with country folks n stuff

Sorry that I wanted you too much
Sorry that I was excited to be seen with you and such
Is the way life is, you want her she doesn't
Sorry if I only looked forward to your name when my phone was buzzin'
Yea I still wish you well
Though I'm sorry that the way I found you had another hurt me to hell
I'm just sorry....

Listen you had me at your beck and call
I wanted to give you it all
My world and then some but I know why you stalled
Yeah another cat who is more your speed
Someone I guess who could better give you what you need
I'm sorry if I was too awkward and quirky
Sorry for being myself, I know you didn't mean to hurt me
But it happened so nights outside we won't spend where the skies are are starry
