I Love to Write Poetry

A Rose hazardous for the ravenous heart

This bloom protected by thorns.
Gives a striking look as she spins
her brandished streaks untames
a banner entreating in the winds
with proclamation of lovers names

Proceeding through a wild field
Locating her hidden sanctuary remained
hunted and stranded in the thick mud
Hands lifted in defiance and chained
This price will be paid with his blood.

Caught in the wrong area; ankles torn.
The thorn marked a tear so obscene
Branding ownership, his flesh for torment
Missing a clear incision Life is never clean
A savvy women will wait for her moment.

He understands what is to come.
A true lover that provides beyond measure
She never intimidates or frightens him.
They share their heated fleshly treasure.
The anticipated embrace as the lights dim.

This poetry absolutely rocks, my friend. I love how you vividly got in touch with art and nature. Though both were displayed to see, your canvas had already been painted! You're getting closer to some sweet erotic words, I feel it coming...yay!

I have had a few ideas but they are a bit strong. I prefer behaving for now. 😊

@Pfuzylogic Well behaved thoughts coming from such a naughty mind is such the irony.😁

Must mean they're truly strong ideas..after awhile, you'll be posting them without trepidation or cringing through squinty eyes before you hit post.😊

@Pfuzylogic For now, I enjoy just this though..the best of what I've read of your work!

I will be completely honest with you and everyone. The bottom two photos are mine but I cringed as I forced rhymes but I always feel that a “poem” should have some structure whether it be rhythm, rhyme or construction of vivid visual symbols. Thank you for your compliment.
It means everything for my writing. 😎

@Pfuzylogic You are most welcome. Sometimes we must forge through what feels right. I too, often cringe at rhymes but they can be cleverly disguised while flowing without ones eye being distracted..
