I Like To Write Poetry
Autumn leaves sprinkle like rain to the wanting ground
Yellow,
gold,
hues of red,
like floating feathers, they fall to their forever bed
Sleeping trees let go of their singing leaves
As they rest on the forever bed
for their forever sleep
Orion’s sky shines down from heaven’s eye
the warmth of lips have been chased away
so it is,
jackfrost and his frosty kiss
freeze the summer tears of springs eye
For every time there is a season,
and for every day there is a night
for every spring there is a fall
And approaches
a time when we bid the year farewell as we dim it’s light
and we bid a good-bye to it all
