I Like To Write Poetry

Little pieces of hope erected in my soul
Looking for a light to find my way back home.
"Where is that?" you ask,
"I don't know" I say.

Is it real?
Is it a location?
A feeling or a place I have not yet found?

The answer is dormant in my mind:
A distant destination upon horizons I have not yet seen, a dream of belonging; a longing in my bones that will give me peace when it is mine....that is home.
