I am grateful

wake with a heart that remembers—
not what I lack, but what overflows.
A quiet whisper rises within me,
a prayer wrapped in gratitude.

Thank You, God,
for being the steady light in my every dawn,
the peace that holds me
when the world feels unsteady,
the unseen hand guiding my steps
even when I cannot see the path.

For my children—
my living miracles,
the laughter that fills my soul,
the love that teaches me
what it means to give without end.
Through their eyes, I see wonder again;
through their hearts, I learn grace.

For my family—
the roots that keep me grounded,
the arms that catch me when I fall,
the shared stories, the unspoken bonds,
a love that time only deepens.

For my church—
a place where my spirit is lifted,
where faith is not just spoken, but felt,
where I am reminded
that I am never walking alone.

For my work—
the purpose that shapes my days,
the strength it builds within me,
the reminder that I am capable,
that I can create, contribute, and grow.

And for the man who loves me—
a love that feels like home,
gentle yet powerful,
steady yet alive.
In his presence, my heart softens,
in his love, I feel seen, cherished, and whole.

All these blessings,
woven together like a sacred tapestry—
each thread a gift,
each moment a reminder
that my life is full.

So today, and every day,
I choose gratitude.
I choose to see the beauty,
to honor the love,
to whisper “thank You”
for it all.
