New short Poem

We simply are not black or white.
We do not change in day and night.
We simply aren't just straight or gay.
Each individual in every way.
We are not a label because of where we're born.
Look at the person and see the dawn.
The media cannot dictate how we are meant to be.
Look in the mirror and be proud of what you see.
We are not blind yet sometimes we don't see.
That everyone else just has a right to be.
Treasure each moment and sometimes just embrace.
We all are members of the human race.
