I stepped away to give you space,
and cleared the air inside this place.
No heavy weight for you to bear,
no pressure waiting in the air.
The slate is clean, the air is still;

A friendship I’ve let go,
as time will show.
No lingering debts, no open scores,
Just quiet paths and closed doors.

*New shadows knock from disguised frames,
but I am done with hidden games.
No shadow accounts to deceive
no hidden line
*Just walk your path
And leave me mine
I already heard your silent voice.

I turn the key and step away;
there's no more left for me to say.
