Why would I want to be where I Wasn't wanted?

The older I've become the more I've come to prefer the company of my allies rather than to waste time trying to convince haters and skeptics to like me.

I see you. you're not invisible to me. my hater. I simply do not care if you do not like me as it's not my assignment or mission in life to please you.

one thing about being alone is when you've been alone for so long you start to demand a High premium for your company because you no longer fear isolation.

Blessed solitude is preferred to insolence. I'm not saying I'm entitled to respect but, I ask gently why would I find pleasant the company of those who do not like me? to be hated on, to be dunked on and criticized. Do any of us really enjoy being the punching bag of another?

it's honestly amusing at times to watch the arrogance and conceit of others who have only ever offered insolence and disrespect as though it is of great injury emotionally to block what has only ever been ache in your ass.

you would think if people were trying to hurt you they'd build up some rapport first.

I might be somewhat emotionally masochistic but I am no Martyr, I don't seek out pain and I will not.

I'm still mostly normal in the sense that I would rather be happy. and have nice things said of me and to me.

to the female readership I've cultivated too, thank you. Note though that this also expresses a lack of desire to force myself on you.
I'm sure you could make me miserable if I did too.

alas. People wonder why I'm a loner.
let's speak practically for a moment.
Generally speaking if you insist on spending time with those who don't want you around.
they can easily find ways to make your life around them hell.
it's not hard to be creative in that respect.

So I will only travel where the warmth can be found.
