This was his first major masterpiece, and is here translated by Edward Snow, it's better than the other translation I have of this work, many other Rilke volumes to go through!!

That's a good translation but I much prefer Stephen Mitchell. People used to tell me to read Rilke but I didn't get it until the Mitchell translations. Rilke is my favorite poet.

@hunkalove Yes!! This is the whole work as far as I know Mitchell only partially translated or only partially was published. I have the Mitchells and will be using them too, Rilke is phenomenal, thanks :)
