Like, "Did you know most people think the ocean is blue because it reflects the sky, but that's actually not the main reason?"
Let’s talk about important stuff, like world problems and hunger - what we’d like to do to help people in need. - and our shared hatred for injustice..
Let’s talk about TV shows and that football match;
Like, what team are you rooting for?
And do you have a show to recommend?
Maybe we can watch it together someday..
Let’s talk about hobbies, and share our music;

- but let’s trust that we’ll never take it there.. - at this point there’s no way we’ll ever turn on each other, right..?
Let’s share pieces of everyday life over some time, together with pictures of both ourselves, and small things from our POV, so that we really get to know each other, along with all those tiny habits..
Let’s internalize each other's laugh, the way you pronounce different words, and let’s call each other by nicknames instead of what everyone else uses.
Let’s pretend that what we have is a deep connection, and that it’s what some might even call special..
Then one day.
let’s argue,
about something insignificant,
and let’s blow it so far out of proportion,
that we never talk again..
And if you ever miss me..?
