Just another poem then that's it
Shadows of a Broken Trust
I thought you changed, the dawn anew,
Yet every word concealed a rue.
Behind that mask, a tale you'd weave,
A false narrative too hard to believe.
You used my trust as your disguise,
And cast away the ties that bind with lies.
Your weapon, choice—a fickle friend,
A dance of hope that knows no end.
Yet resilience rises in shattered light,
With each discarded word takes flight.
We walk apart on divergent paths,
For friendships forged in storms, just wrath.
No more illusions woven tight,
In shadows cast from fading light.
I thought you changed, the dawn anew,
Yet every word concealed a rue.
Behind that mask, a tale you'd weave,
A false narrative too hard to believe.
You used my trust as your disguise,
And cast away the ties that bind with lies.
Your weapon, choice—a fickle friend,
A dance of hope that knows no end.
Yet resilience rises in shattered light,
With each discarded word takes flight.
We walk apart on divergent paths,
For friendships forged in storms, just wrath.
No more illusions woven tight,
In shadows cast from fading light.
