The Congo - a poem by Vachel Lindsay

How is the poetry of Vachel Lindsay viewed nowadays. We studied it in school back in the day as an attack on colonialism when that was very much not the fashion. I wonder if its old fashioned (to say the least) language would render it unsuitable nowadays.

Amazingly, this works as a rap track if you chant it out loudly. And it was written in 1915, so it was way ahead of his time.
