Oh what a day, I'm learning how to file a case in court.
I'm exhausted with the bullshit.
With losing. With just going along and being taken advantage of by people.
Lately, I've been sending letters, opting out of binding arbitration clauses. Reading the contracts, fine print, blowing it up, examining, searching for clauses that enable me to essentially not Agree to things that benefit them but not yours truly.
Actually reading the Fine print with tools to make the text bigger.
Thus leading to Opting out of all these dark practices.
I'm about to send my Credit union a letter in mail, opting out of the "Courtesy" of overdraft "protection."
It royally pisses me off that they Frame this as a "Courtesy."
Oh you're trying to do me a favor? It's only too bad it would illegal to spit in your face because I would for this "Courtesy" Fuck you, Overdraft "protection" is your attempt to ROB me if I go over a few cents of 37 dollars for every Transaction.
I'm learning, That this time was the last time I'll ever put up with the shit and just agree passively and go along with these abusive practices ever again.
You see my Bank did it again, One more time, and I know, from experience, that when I call them, they're probably going to try to act like they're doing me a favor by waiving some of the fees as another "Courtesy" as if agreeing not to Rob me as much is a "Courtesy.."
So, I'm taking steps, to take control of where my Direct deposits go.
And, changing to my Credit union.
So that when I take my Bank as I use both to Small claims court.
I'm also planning on sending my credit union a letter by certify mail to Opt out of Overdraft protection.
I know now that even if I unknowingly signed an arbitration agreement the burden of proof is still on the bank too which would cost them thousands of dollars to do, and that they can't use outside legal to defend themselves in small claims court.
So, in essence that means thousands of dollars just to deny my less than 200 dollars.
I'm learning how to FIGHT BACK Because ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
I've finally snapped. they took me one last time but one thing they Didn't count on is That I'd have an Generative AI in my corner too to teach me most of the "How to." about how to file a claim and do research on relevant Oregon statues in order to do it right.
I mean to take my Bank to Small claims court to make it far more expensive t onot give me a full refund even if they don't want to than simply fight me in court. using leverage against them.
I will succeed in life because I've learned things few people even know.
So my climb to success has only just begun like if they reply my letter of demand with "we make all clients sign arbitration clauses and I don't see your opt out letter."
I can reply, and be like " it will cost you time, effort, money, man hours, etc, to prove that in court. Do you really want to have to do that? because I don't care, I'm sueing you anyway."
I hate this fucking miserable world, but I'm going to Win because I've learned how to fight.
